What's in a name...
Crême Brulée Singers is a spin-off of the Edinburgh University Music Society Chorus. We first performed as a group at a corporate Christmas party in 2004. Since then, we have sung at events in the Assembly Rooms, the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and several weddings. Although the exact make-up of the choir varies, we always sing SATB with two to four voices per part.
Our name, 'Crême Brulée', is a joking but festive reference to the 'crême de la crême' of the EUMS Chorus. We first sung under this name when one of our altos got married to one of our basses in 2006!
